Constituents Demand an End to Forever Wars

June 20, 2025

Posted in: Korea Peace Advocacy • Korea Peace Advocacy Week • News

🗣️ Why do you support peace in Korea? As 2025 Korea Peace Advocacy Week wraps up, we reflect on how hundreds of peace advocates across the country have led virtual and in-person visits to urge their members of Congress to support a diplomatic solution to the conflict and a peace-first approach.

This year’s Advocacy Week also comes at a time when we are bearing witness to the full brunt of U.S. militarism come home to roost, as the Trump administration brutally cracks down with military forces on protestors and our community members. “We need to close loop holes as the drum beat of war is strengthening. We need to cool that down. Ending the Korean War is a place to start,” Wansun Song stated while meeting with Senator Alex Padilla (CA). Swipe for what constituents shared in meetings with their representatives to demand an end to forever wars ➡️

💐 Thank you to everyone who met with and urged their representatives to support peace in Korea and an end to wars everywhere!
