The UT Austin Center for Asian American Studies will host “Futures Beyond Militarism: Confronting Violence, Restoring the Sacred,” a two-day conference bringing together international scholars and activists to examine global alternatives to militarism and ways communities envision and enact sustainable and interdependent futures from April 23-24, 2026.
