Giboom Park is the Communications Associate for Women Cross DMZ. She is a Northwestern University graduate who triple majored in political science, international studies, and history. Park is a feminist with a strong desire to elevate the status of AANHPI women past the narrow constraints of prejudice and stereotype. Giboom previously served as a research fellow for Dr. Ji-Yeon Yuh’s “The Korean War and Separated Families” project and as a Feminist Korea Peace Fellow for Women Cross DMZ. Aside from her passion for writing and advocacy, Giboom can be found watercolor painting, learning languages, or taking intermittent naps with her cat.
