Our plans for 2026

December 27, 2025

Posted in: Newsletters

Dear Friend,

The political landscape has drastically transformed this year and posed new challenges. However, thanks to your generous support, we made powerful strides towards peace, healing, and uplifting women’s leadership.

Whatever 2026 brings, Women Cross DMZ is ready to meet the moment. But we cannot do this work without the support of our generous donors. You have a few more days to make a tax-deductible contribution in 2025 to ensure this work continues!

Make your one-time tax deductible donation online or by mail. You can also donate monthly and become a Korea peace grassroots sustainer!

Our plans for 2026 include:

  • Ground-breaking feminist analysis: Highlight the impact of war and militarism on women through analysis, educational initiatives, and media advocacy.
  • Progressive Korea peace legislation in Congress: Advocate for the Peace on the Korean Peninsula Act and changes to military spending, including in the National Defense Authorization Act.
  • Train the next generation of leaders: Organize convenings for youth leaders to build skills for legislative advocacy, challenge far right agendas, and seek redress for historic wrongs.
  • Feminist counter to the ‘New Cold War’: Convene leading feminist activists promoting civil society engagement and producing progressive policy analysis.
  • Bridging domestic and foreign policy: Organize leading activists, lawyers, and scholars to educate and shift narratives on how US militarism and forever wars in Asia foment violence and discrimination at home against Asian Americans.
